Our second cache designed to bring people to areas they might not otherwise visit. It's up a private dirt road but it's open to the public. Well packed, but a bit of work for you bikers. For driving, no problem at all. While there, read the plaques and see the sights as they are. Check out the obvious place for its historical significance, but the cache isn't in there.

FINALLY! Third time's a charm. DNF'ed after 45 minutes last fall. Came back to try again, and yesterday I spent close to another hour scouring the area. After I got tired of wiping the blood off my legs from briar scratches and pulling the thorns out of my jeans, I called it quits for the day and put out an all-points-bulletin on Facebook for hints from friends. No one could remember exactly, but they confirmed the general quadrant. So I made one more stop today and found it pretty quickly. It was well camouflaged, to say the least. Took the compass thingy and left $1. Finally got this off my list. SL, TFTC.

My 11 year old daughter Caitlin found it in the freezing cold.

This was a really interesting spot tucked into the woods back here. Our geodog went right into the obvious place to check it out. After circling around a little we spotted something interesting and found the cache there. Took Sacajawea coin and removed gum to keep animals away, left compass/whistle. TFTC!

Unfortunately, ended my day of MV caching, including my 300th find, with a DNF. Spent 45 minutes looking all around the obvious and not-so-obvious spots. Got molested by lots of briar thorns, too. Coordinates zeroed in, but even after phoning a friend for help, still came up empty. It was getting dark so I called it a day.

Found the great cache without much trouble. Hadn't been here in years and my kids had never been here. Thanks for bringing us to this neat spot. My mom grabbed the duck TB. I will log it for her since it may be a while before she can. TFTC!!!
