How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This herd of hippos has been relocated and renamed after its original stretch of grassy bank was invaded by groundskeeper crocodiles. If you found Fresh Water Whales, you'll recognize the container - and the abbreviated log book!

If you can't tell my my nickname I love hippos. Got a house full of them in all shapes and sizes. If you come by our TB Dude Ranch and we aren't out caching ourselves you can come see my own private herd - and learn more than you thought possible about "p'amuses."

Why the name? Scientifically speaking the hippopotamus has more in common with the whale than any other animal on the planet. Come find this cache and learn more interesting facts about Hippopotamama’s favorite animal.

Ample parking at a nearby office building provides quick access. Briars on some approaches but none near the cache. Some stealth on weekdays but relatively muggle-free evenings and weekends. And, thanks to the local deer, there is already a "social trail" that runs right by the cache!
