Geocache Description:

An easy drive through location on Hwy 101.

This micro cache is located at an unofficial rest area between Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Ca. Credit goes back to Team CBX2 as they had the first cache at this location. It was discontinued in 2004, but it is just such a great spot to stop and stretch that I wanted to put a cache back there for travelers to pick up.

The off ramp has no number, and it goes no where but back to the freeway, but it is large and allows for a place to just stop and stretch. During the nesting season, hundreds of Swallows can be seen on the overpass.

Sometimes, the local CHP can also be seen at this location.

The cache is a small magnetic hide-a-key, with a log but no pen or pencil.
