Geocache Description:

Located near Holmes Beach boat ramp. Regular size container.

These trees were planted as a living memory to those names engraved on the memorial plaque. Sit awhile at the picnic tables by the water and enjoy the beautiful view, and listen to the sounds of nature.

TREES OF MEMORY

What do we plant when we plant a tree?
We plant the ship that will cross the sea
We plant the house for you and me
We plant the shade from the hot sun free
We plant a thousand things we daily see
We plant all these things when we plant a tree
And
We plant a memory that will ever be.

--Adapted from a poem by Henry Abbey
