Geocache Description:

This is the Maine event for the fun filled weekend. Everyone will meet up and be handed the coords and rules for this years Cache Flow. Object is to find all caches on your coord page and pull one random envelop from each cache. Once turned in to officials the winners will be chooses on who grabbed the best playing card hand. Awards will be given to First, Second and third place winners.

Cache Hounds of Brewton are gearing up for a one-of-a-kind weekend event set for Aug. 1-3. In its second year, organizers are planning for scores of participants in the "Burnt Corn Cache Flow" to be staged on park property along the historic creek. Action gets underway on Friday with beginners learning about the adventure in Geocaching 101. The main event on Saturday starts with breakfast in the park, a cache hunt, awards ceremony with live music and prizes and a celebration dinner Saturday evening. On Sunday, cachers can earn CITO points by taking a canoe or kayak or tube trip down the creek with a newly published cache trail featured on the waterway. Special rates for participants through specified lodging establishments and Low Country Adventures. All events happen in partnership with the City of Brewton.
