A neat little piece of history off the beaten path.
While out 4 wheeling with the Tucson Rough Riders we passed this small structure, I asked for some information about it from an expert of the area and was told it was a line shack where cowboys would stay while out on the range. 40 years ago there were bunk beds, a kitchen and a well to make it complete. I thought it was a place that needed a cache so others could enjoy it also. Decon container as that is what I had with me, not fond of micros in the back country but didn't have anything bigger. High clearance recommended. I was told this was on State Trust Land so a permit is needed also.
