Geocache Description:

It’s the story... of a lovely geocacher
who was hiking with three very lovely girls
all of them had their GPS like their mother
the youngest one in curls

It’s a common misconception that Jan would yell Marcia, Marcia, Marcia because she was jealous of her sister. Not true! Instead, Jan would be so happy geocaching that she would stand out on the Marsh Platform and yell “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha”.

Don’t worry though.... the cache is hidden in a dry location, far from the marsh. It’s a camo ammo box located near couple of trails and long distance bushwhacking is not needed. No cliff or rock climbing needed. Children will enjoy finding this one.

NOTE: The cache was moved on 9/14/06 to conform with DNR regulations that a cache be moved at least once a year. It is now CLOSER to the Nature Center building. I had a hard time getting a consistent GPS reading with the thick trees around. I welcome any better coordinates.

Take Deerview road, south of Brillion, to the parking area. The road seems to go right through a salvage yard. Don’t fret, it’s a public road. Rumor has it that Jan would dump her old boyfriends at the salvage yard. I wonder how many cents a pound she would get for them.

Park at N44 09.676 W88 05.625. If possible, visit the marsh platform and nature center afterwards. Restrooms are located just north of the nature center.

5/10/04 The Brillion Nature Center has asked that all geocachers please try to clean their footwear of all dirt and seeds before entering the land. They are trying to control invasive weeds such as garlic mustard and honeysuckle. Thank you! (I have seen lots of garlic mustard at the other nature areas)

Permission was obtained from the Brillion Nature Center to place this cache.
