This cache is in Emma Long Park, in the large area outside the "pay beach" that is open for hiking at no cost.
"A Cache is not a view." Or so it says in the
guidelines. But many of us beg to differ, and The Outlaw is one of them.
A cache is not necessarily a container, as some would
like you to believe. It is an experience that engages you -- body, soul,
and spirit. Very often, that includes a communication with nature. This cache is a vivid illustration of that point. The day
it was placed, we saw a red-tail hawk soaring above Lake Austin near the
cliff ... probably protecting a nest. To all geocachers, but ESPECIALLY to The Outlaw - I hope your body is strengthened,
your soul is fed, and your spirit is lifted by the view you find at this
cache!
