Geocache Description:

Hi...I'm glad you're here...i mean why shouldn't you be here, it sure is better then being in a large metal dumpster. Boy i'll say, guess a lot of places are better to be then that...hoooooo!!
This Cache could be a little tricky to get to. It just depends on how good a hiker and ridge walker you are. This Cache is in a big, plastic, dog bone shaped container and is high above an amazing slot canyon we call Crack in the Earth. We've also come to call the place by where the Cache is hid, Mowhawk Mesa...you'll see why. Inside the Cache are the cords for each end of the slot canyon, be sure to go see it, you might even end up going through it on your way to the cache.
Here are the road directions

-From I-25 get off at the Radium Springs Exit, Exit 19.

-If you are coming from the south take a left, from the north a right onto 157.

-at 1.6 miles turn right onto 185.

-travel road 185 for 5.7 miles. On your right you'll see a green road sign that says "Hatch 14 miles T or C 52"
Park near this sign.

-the way to the cache is to the left of that sign. Cross the old fence and just follow the cords to it.

Good luck! Hooooooooooooooot!
Be sure and go to the slot canyon, that's one of the big reasons we've placed this cache.

Thanks! You're a right on person,
VXR and McAmerica
