Morups kyrka har anor från 1200-talet då dess äldsta delar är från den tiden. 1804 byggdes kyrkan till då den förlängdes framåt med det kor som finns idag. Då byggdes även de vapenhus och torn som finns idag. I original var kyrkan byggd i rött tegel och kallades då för ”den röde kirken”. Den var då ett sjömärke. Idag är kyrkan vitkalkad både på insidan och utsidan.

De äldsta föremål som finns i kyrkan är ett krucifix och är daterat tillbaka till 1500-talet. Ett annat gammalt föremål är dopfunten från 1613.

Kyrkans altartavla föreställer Jesus tillsammans med Moses, Elias, Petrus, Jakob och Johannes på förklaringsberget. Altartavlan är en kopia av en målning som finns i Vatikanmuséet i Rom.

Orgeln är från 1978 med en gammal fasad från 1859 och har 18 stämmor. Den är tillverkad av Tostareds orgelfirma.

Morups kyrka has its origin from the 13th century since its oldest part is from that time. 1804 the church was extended froward with the sanctuary that is present today. Then the present church porch and the tower was also built. Originally the church was built in red bricks and was then called the red church. It was then a navigation mark. Today the church is lime covered both on the inside and the outside.

The oldest object in the church is a crucifix and dates back to the 16th century. Another old object is the christening font from 1613.

The altarpiece depicts Jesus togther with Moses, Elias, Petrus, Jakob and Johannes on the Mount Sinai. The altarpiece is a copy of a painting that is in the Vatican museum in Rom.

The organ is from 1978 and has an old front from 1859 and has 18 stops. It is manufactured by Tostareds orgelfirma.
