This cache was placed as a part of the Great Eastlink Geocache Project. The Project involved 25 Geocaching Teams from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne who combined their efforts in July 2008 to create the largest cache series in Australia in which each cache in the series is individually owned by one team.
About Pyramid & Pond
As I stood by the pond and pondered where to place a cache in this great series I took stock of my surroundings and the first thought that past my mind as I viewed the rise in front of me was that it resembled a Pyramid, thus was born Pyramid & Pond
This is an easy 'Traditional' cache which should not pose any problem for new or experienced cachers. As a caution the cache is near busy roads so care should be taken with young children. Parking is available close to the location of the cache on both sides of the road.
The cache is a 1 litre sistima container. The original contents include:
- 1 pair of Australian Thongs (key rings)
- Flashing Whistle
- 1x4 port mini USB hub
- Small racing car
- Small Auto scan FM radio with torch (batteries inc)
- Mini LED torch
- Flashing Car Key Ring
