Who is Dirty MO Baggins?
Early on in his years, MO worked as a baker, making all kinds of delicious goodies. As rough as he was (is) he had a knack for creating sweet and gooey goodness from eggs, flour, milk and sugar. People came from far and wide to sample his heavenly creations, but it wasn’t long before he longed for something else, something more.
MO Wandered aimlessly for years, having no idea of where he was going or what to do. An urge to create boiled within, but every job he took, eventually left him bored and yearning for change. His travels took him coast to coast and border to border, with no end in sight. Then one sweltering mid-summer afternoon, near Fayetteville, North Carolina, MO came across a man crawling into a city water culvert with, what looked like an ammo can…
Intrigued, he followed after the man into the depths. Through the darkness MO crept, not wanting to alarm the man he followed and keeping a considerable distance between them. Twisting and winding tunnels led deeper into the dark. After, what seemed like hours, the man suddenly stopped in his tracks. Mo, not being familiar with the surroundings and not paying attention, ran smack into this figures backside. Shocked and embarrassed, MO tried to explain why his curiosity led him to follow behind this dark stranger. in awe, MO listened to the stranger as he unveiled a fascinating tale about his sickness for this thing called Geocaching. An instant friendship was kindled between the two men, there in those dank Carolina sewers, as they shared stories in the dark.
the years rolled by…
Many unique geocache containers and unusual geocache concepts Were born and developed by the two men. Eventually it became time for MO to bid farewell to his mentor and spread the Dirtbag style of Geocaching to the world...
Fate soon found MO on the outskirts of the small Midwestern town of Kansas City. Upon his arrival, a chance encounter with several like-minded individuals, would change the face of geocaching for Geocachers that hunted for geocaches in Missouri...forever.
So here it is Kansas City! The moment you’ve all been waiting for...
