A beautiful ocean outlook near Pepperdine University. It is one of our favorite whale watch locations. It is a very easy location to access. Please make sure you take some time to enjoy the view.
5/19/14 --I am not able to get to this location to replace the container. Please, if you are going to this location, replace the container. It is such a beautiful location, I would hate to lose the cache!! We will forever be grateful to whomever is kind enough to help out. Thanks!! 7/13/09--I have updated the Terrain & Difficulty Rating in that many people have complained about it as of late...this is either due to erosion, growth or someone has moved the location of the cache. I believe the cache is still accessible with the description listed since it appears it is being located with no difficulty. ENJOY!! 1/9/07--THANKS TO SEASCHOCK...HE CHECKED IT OUT...AND THE CACHE SURVIVED!!!!! THIS IS THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE 1/8/07 MALIBU FIRE!! IF SOMEONE MAKES IT OUT THERE...PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THE CACHE IS STILL THERE...THANKS!! This cache has been replaced and re-hidden by OCBTracker...we send a big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Our GPS showed us at 168 feet.
It contains:
- A Cool Rock;
- A pack of heart stickers;
- A plastic alligator and a plastic frog;
- A Chumash Casino Key Chain;
- A 4 pack od Crayons;
- A growing bunny;
- 2 American Flag stickers and a few more silly things!
Please note: This cache has been replaced again by a fellow cacher, the scintillefamily in August 2003. The container is green camo tupperwear aprox 8" by 5" (edited 4/10/10) . Please replace the container as you found it, cover it up really good...and Have fun!!
