Geocache Description:

The coordinates above will bring you to the entrance of Choate Sanctuary located on Crow Hill Rd just north of the intersection of Crow Hill Rd and Route 133. For more information on and a trail map of Choate Sanctuary: http://www.sawmillriveraudubon.org/Choate.html

The coordinates to the trail head will also lead you to the first stage of the cache. The first stage is in a clear waterproof speedo pocket/wallet. Because of the terrain and many possible hiding spots at GZ, a GPSr alone isn't acurate enough to find this cache. So in the first stage is a photo clue (the cache is located within the photo) for you to bring with you to help you find the next and final stage. The same photo is also posted in the gallery. You will use the coordinates that you deciphered online to guide you to GZ and then the photo will help guide you the rest of the way. Please leave the photo clue in the final stage when you are done. ** I have placed the first stage as close as possible to the trail, no need to go wondering off of the trail for the first stage because I have seen a lot of poison ivy off/around the beginning of the trail, I haven't seen any poison ivy around the cache site** In order to find the final stage of the cache you will have to translate the coordinates from binary code: N 101001 1100.111001101 W 1001001 101101.10010001 Binary is a number system used by digital devices like computers, cd players, etc. The cache is about 100 ft. off of the eastern end of the white trail, midway up a hill. I don't recommend going strait up the hill there is a much easier way to get to the cache, that also has less of an impact on the area. To get to the cache you can follow the white trail directly from the entrance (it loops, so either way you go on the white trail you will eventually make it to the cache). The cache is in a heavy duty plastic container, similar to a lock and lock box. For the FTF there is a $5 gift card for ice cream, plus the usual assortment of nick-nacks.
