Dear Dr. Casher,

Attached, please find a picture of what has come to be known as the Ngwuky Stone. It is here at the University in Oslo. We do not know what the symbols mean, but we have reason to believe several key or Rune stones can be found in your area that will help translate the stone.

As you know, it has long been thought, that the Norwegians, more specifically the Vikings, were the first Europeans to come to any of the main lands of the Western Hemisphere. Dubious evidence of Viking visits have been found in New England and as far west as Minnesota.

We’ve narrowed down as to where to find the key stones. They're scattered 20 meters about a point (N43 03.309 W88 22.621) on the Lake County Trail. Please search out these Rune stones, interpret their meaning and advance as far as you can with the information you discover. Some of my colleagues believe this will lead to some kind of collection, or cache if you will, of lost Viking plunder.

Good luck and sincerely,
Dr. Tak Topovstump
