Old Kingsbury Aerodrome Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

For all of you who love flight as much as I do, (and those who know me understand I am addicted to altitude adjustments)you will find a lot of history at this small out of the way flying field & Museum. Some of the current projects on the field include the complete building of a WWI Spad (1918) fighter aircraft from scratch - Machine guns included, and the Red Baron's Fokker Triplane - well not his but one just like it. So take a step back in time when flying was by the seat of your pants and chivalry was something everyone understood.

While you are there, say hello to Roger Freeman and the guys who dedicate themselves to restoring these historic aircraft so that we can touch a piece of history.

When you find the cache container, be careful removing and replacing it and please replace it exactly as you find it. You will understand when you locate it,and dont injure yourselves trying.

Have a blast.
