I was out exploring West Seattle when I found two public access areas on Brace Point, which offer magnificent views of Puget Sound. To bring people down here I decided that they needed a couple quick and easy micros.
According to Native American Legend the waters of Puget Sound between Brace Point, and its companion to the south, Three Tree Point were said to be haunted by a supernatural creature, an Ai-Yah-Hus, an immense serpent with the forelegs and antlers of a deer. The bluffs above the water were also said to be inhabited by great snakes, whose rumblings occasionally triggered deadly avalanches.
