This is a recipe cache located in the Fort St. Marys area. Bushwhacking is not required. To log this cache a recipe for a dessert dish must be sent to the cache owner.
The coordinates above take you to a relative’s grave marker with a name that might provoke nightmares. You will need to guess which grave marker is the one you need, although these coordinates will get you very close! Please be respectful as you are in a cemetery.
Once you find the correct gravestone, you need to find the date of death, and the days aged from the stone in the form:
Died
MMM ab, cdef
Aged
ghYiMjkD
Now you can get the final cache coordinates by filling in for the letters in the below:
m = d / 2
n = g + b
p = k + a + j
q = e / 2
N mh.gb.gnp
W dq.ag.cfj
This will lead you straight to the final cache. There is no trail, but the ground is very open. Do beware of potholes near the cache, especially in the snow! In order to log the cache, you must supply a unique, edible, dessert recipe. Please just write the name of the recipe in the log, and then e-mail the recipe itself to me (and yes, I will test it out!). You must send a recipe in order to log this cache as found. If you found the cache and want one of the other recipes listed in the log, just drop me an e-mail and I’ll forward you a copy. This way, no one has to copy recipe cards out at the cache itself. The recipes may be published in some form in the future (web site?).
The cache is a midsize plastic cookie container. It starts out with cooking related trade items such as magic dish towels, spoon holder, pastry brush, and so on, as well as a very few toys (not much room) for kids. Please try to stick with the cooking theme for trade items.
A Starbucks card is in the cache for the FTF.
Please rehide the cache when finished as well or better than when found!
