Geocache Description:

Hey Folks, come on out to the Fingal Wildlife Management Area at noon on Saturday August 11th, to celebrate OGA Day with The SFL Crew!

Join the Ontario Geocaching Association for some fun and socializing at one of the many events being held throughout Ontario to celebrate OGA Day. The Ontario Geocaching Association was formed in 2004 and has a membership of 2300+ and growing. OGA provides fun, information, education and support to the Ontario geocaching community. For more information or to join, visit www.ontgeocaching.com. We'll be having a picnic lunch to start the event, so don't forget to bring your own lunch, and plenty of bottled water or other drinks that you would prefer. There are picnic tables within the FWMA for us to use, but you can also bring your own lawn chairs in case you would rather choose another spot for lunch. Afterwards we are free to roam at will throughout the 27 kilometres of trails that make up the FWMA, learning about the former Number Four Bombing and Gunnery School which used to be located on site, (remnants of which can still be seen today), or enjoying all that nature has to offer, including the local wildlife that now calls the FWMA home
