Beware of Muggles
Located on the grounds of the Central Texas Area Museum. Be sure to stop in and say hello to the museum staff. Original permission was given by a gem of a lady, Ms. Cille, who served as the museum curator and was as well a descendent of one of the town's founding families. She was expert on central Texas history, and specifically the Scottish influence in the region. She was very excited to support a geocache on the grounds, and loved to meet geocachers. Sadly, she passed on in 2009. The staff who is there now is also excited to have this cache as they know that geocachers are awesome! They may or may not be able to help with hints.
This interesting cache is intended to blend in with its surroundings, so you will have to look carefully to locate this one. Really poor satellite reception will plague you on this cache, so get a good reading while you can. If you wait to within 25 feet of the cache, the best you will probably get is 2 birds and 50+ feet accuracy. This is log only cache, so bring a pen.
Naturally, there are a few muggles you won't have to worry about watching you - the museum staff. They may (or not) know where the cache is hidden, and may even chuckle at your shenanigans at the very least, or, as logs have demonstrated, even offer a hint or two. Please do not step on or bother the landscaping as the cache is not hidden in that way. It is possible to see, grab, and replace this one without touching the beautiful native plants. I "wood"n't lie to you about that!
