Geocache Description:

WWFM III is the third annual Worldwide Flash Mob event, a simultaneous collection of fifteen-minute events at different spots on the earth set to happen at 10 a.m. PDT on May 10th, 2008.

So, the New Mexico event will be from 11:00-11:15 a.m., MDT, that's local time here and now!

A special WWFMIII geocoin will be available only for those that participate in the flash mob event! Use the hint if you'd like more information. For more info on WWFM III: WWFMIII

There are currently over 150 events scheduled worldwide: WWFMIII list

The Basic Idea: A 'flash mob' is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse. You must follow the guidelines below in order to claim an "attended" log. There will be no traditional gathering.

This will be the first WWFM in the State of New Mexico. It will be held at the new Uptown shops, near the traffic circle. Please use the clock on your GPSr, or keep your eye on me, so that the group is perfectly synchronized.

Here's the plan:

10:30 - 10:59 a.m.: Arrive, find a parking spot (available underground to the south, and above ground to the east), and stroll around the area. DO NOT gather together or mingle with one another--it must look as tho' we are there randomly.

At exactly 11:00 a.m.: Approach me to get your "log page". Then go off and stroll around in the general vicinity. Turn off your cell phones. Sign your log page during the next 14 minutes, when you have the chance!

At exactly 11:05 a.m.: Freeze! You must remain perfectly still for 5 minutes. Therefore, be sure you are not in the street or blocking a store's door. Also, for this reason, this would be a good opportunity to leave your dogs/small children at home and/or with friends or relatives. This will be VERY, VERY DIFFICULT. Please practice before the event!

11:10: Unfreeze, and approach me to place your log page in the bucket.

11:15: LEAVE the area. Please do not socialize. If you weren't on time to pick up your log page or don't turn it back in, then I'm sorry, but you've missed the event.

I'm sure there will be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I just see? What just happened?" (That's part of the fun!)

Here's a video of what I hope this will look like: GCS/NYC freeze

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Those who wish to can gather afterwards at the Starbuck's at the southwest corner of the "mall" to debrief. Just make sure you straggle over there individually!]
