Geocache Description:

Porthgain Granite Quarry

This cache is not suitable for the infirm or for children. if travelling by car it's best to park at porthgain. take the steps leading from the harbour and follow the coastal path. take the obvious tramway incline, known as the road to jerusalem. it was named as such by the quarry workers as they knew that their long walk to work had almost reached the end. There is a steep scramble down to the quarry itself. the best way down can be found to the left side (as you look out to sea). take care as this can be slippery in wet conditions.

A pencil will be required for signing the log and ideally a 2 or 10 pence piece to open the container.
