This cache is a 5.56mm ammo can - hidden in the typical Arizona fashion.
The original cache contents consisted of: *Grampa Abe travel bug. *Texas GeoCoin (per records - the only TX GeoCoin that had been circulated in Arizona). *1 X-Large Geocaching.com T-Shirt (a gift for the first finder). *2 GEO stickers. *Headphones. *Tape measure. *3 pc. (flat) screwdriver set. *3 glider planes. *Opal necklace. *FOLD BAGS TO HELP TRASH OUT packet. *Log book, etc.
This cache is hidden in the Bulldog Canyon area. This is one of my favorite areas to visit in the east valley for geocaching - or just enjoying some hiking. There is trailhead parking on Usery Pass Road at coordinates: N33° 30.285 W111° 37.037. The hike from the trailhead to the cache is about .23 mile. Roads and trails will take you to the cache - no need to bushwhack.
Please take the time to rehide the cache in as natural a setting as possible. Also, please try to cover your tracks.
Happy geocaching,
RandMan
