How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small sized, homemade water proof container, which contains a stubby marker and a log book. The container was too small for a pen but did hold the marker there is room for micro coins, TB’s and some swag. The first to find get a Lieutenant shoulder board for the US Army Dress Blues.

The terrain is not that bad but there is some dead fall on the way to the cache depending on where you park your boat.

This cache must be retrieved by boat, there are many boat ramps near this island, and it is not far from the dam. I am not listing any specific ramps as I do not want this cache to be considered commercial in nature but if you use the maps on the cache page you can find one nearby.

Please do not untie the container and please be sure to properly secure the lid so that it stays water proof.
