isht kinta: ### Geocache Owner Action Needed ###

It appears this listing is indicating issues needing to be addressed by the Cache Owner. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.

  1. The geocaching guidelines require virtual caches to have a specific logging task that must be completed by geocachers visiting the site. The cache owner is required to maintain the cache logs by reviewing them and have non-complying logs removed. Cache owners are also required to periodically physically visit the cache location.
  2. Since this geocache was published, it appears that an excessive fee has been imposed on visitors to the cache site. The cache owner should provide a means for geocachers to comply with the logging task without having to pay an excessive fee.

This geocache is being disabled until the cache owner can bring the geocache into compliance. If no action is take by June 30, 2024 the geocache may be archived.

Geocache Description:

One of the best known legends of New Orleans is that of Marie Laveau, the great Voodoo Queen. Even today her tomb attracts individuals seeking her aid, especially aid in love.

Almost all that we know of Marie Laveau is from oral tradition. She helped nurse the wounded at the Battle of New Orleans, nursed the sick during the Yellow Fever Epidemic of the 1850's. One of her daughters, Marie Glapion, a striking look alike, took over the role of Voodoo Queen after her death.

***************************************

To ask for Marie Laveau's help in love:

1. mark three X's (XXX) on the tomb. (PLEASE make the X's 'virtual' since this is a 'virtual', you should know that anyone who is caught writing on this or any other grave markers, will be ARRESTED and fined.)

2. knock three times

3. ask for your wish

4. leave an offering at the front of the tomb
