Short walk about 275' from the parking area.Easy walking even though its up and down.
As of 06-18-07 there are 42 of the possible 54 playing card micros published. We're getting close to a winner !!!! We look foreward to giving away the prize to the winner of the challenge !!! GOOD LUCK .
The container is a 3 gallon plastic bucket painted grey,nested in some natural camo,on the ground.
The name of this cache is because of that silly game adults used to play on unsuspecting youngsters,remember " Do you want to play 52 Pick-Up " ? When we would say, ya ! they would throw all 52 playing cards all over the floor for us to pick-up.
We decided to put this idea into a fun caching game idea.This container has inside of it a micro cache container for each card in a normal deck of cards,each playing card micro has the card attached to the outside of the film canister and a log sheet inside to get those who choose started.
The idea is as follows,We The Hanson Road Explorers have kept 4 of the micros and will put them out. We also have put out 2 others that are part of this game called The JOKER "A" and The JOKER "B".We would like to have anyone who would like to take the other pre-made micros and put them out as thier own caches.We would like to see the names of each cache stay simple,Two of Spades,King of Diamonds,etc.We also would like to keep the terrain and difficulty levels around 1.5.
We are placing another little twist to this challenge ,the first team that finds 52 playing card micros will get a gift prize from us.This is where the 2 jokers come in since you can't count your own caches as finds and you took 2 of the playing card micros to adopt as your own you suppliment the 2 you have out with the jokers and still can find 52.If you take more than 2 of the micros you will be unable to ever find 52 thus will not be able to go for the prize.
If you decide to take some of the micros we ask that you get them hidden and submitted as soon as possible, That way we can keep the interest and game moving along.
We will monitor the playing card micros for those who find them after they are placed and look foreward to someday getting the First to find 52 prize to the winners !!!!
The starting contents in this cache is as follows.48 premade ready to go playing card micro caches,a Lego Island PC Game,a 3rd grade Jump Start PC Game Set,a Fatty Bear PC game,2 Wild Life VCR Tapes,a protractor,15 other small kid type trade items,a log book,pencils and pens.
