Paved walk from Trailhead, tunnel that goes under River Road, one
lone picnic table, and a view of the river... all for that “I want
to find a cache” day... What more could you ask for?
This cache is on a part of the Rivers Edge Trail; there has been a
tremendous amount of work put into this trail and it continues to
grow. Any part of it can make for an enjoyable walk, run, or bike
ride. Travel on this section can vary hour to hour day by day, so I
can’t say what’s the best time for your hunt. The trail takes a
sharp turn after you go through the tunnel. If you check both ways
you should be able to see that the coast is clear, at least long
enough to find the cache. Watch out for those bike riders, and
track stars they can show up fast and they don’t slow down on that
curve. You can take the cache to the picnic table, try to keep it
hidden, but most of all have fun finding it. Please try to put it
back right where and how you found it, I am sure you will
understand why. We hope you enjoy this cache and its location. You
can start anywhere on the trail that you want, but the closest
parking is at the trailhead located at N47°30.955’ W111°17.788'
