Aus dem Generali Center: "Am 31. März 1992 nahm die "Straße der
Sieger" an diesem Ort ihren Ursprung. Alle zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch
lebenden Olympiasieger und jene Sportler, die außergewöhnliche
Leistungen in nichtolympischen Disziplinen erbracht haben, werden
mit Hand- und Fußabdrücken in Tafeln verewigt. Ein Dankeschön an
alle verdienten Sportler, die für Österreich angetreten sind und
gesiegt haben. Wir hoffen, daß diese Straße nie ein Ende finden
wird."
Schauen wir uns diese Tafeln mal genauer an. Vielleicht könntest du
einen Teil der Informationen ergoogeln, aber um den Rest davon
herauszufinden, musst du sowieso die Tafeln vor Ort absuchen, also
wieso Zeit vor dem PC verschwenden? ;) Das "not available 24/7"
Symbol bezieht sich nur auf die Lösung des Rätsels, nicht auf das
Cacheversteck, dieser kann rund um die Uhr gefunden werden. Die
Headerkoordinaten haben insofern nichts mit dem Cacheversteck zu
tun, sind aber ein guter Ort, um mit dem Beantworten der Fragen zu
beginnen.
1) Auf einer Tafel sind gleich sechs Wintersportler
verewigt, aus Platzgründen natürlich nur mit jeweils einer
Hand. Nimm die Quersumme der Quersumme der Jahreszahl auf
dieser Tafel und du erhältst A.
2) Eine andere Wintersportlerin hat unter ihrem großen Sieg noch
eine Art Motto stehen. B ist die letzte Ziffer auf der
Tafel.
3) Zwei Sportler haben keinen Abdruck hinterlassen, da sie
zuvor leider verstarben. C ist der Todestag des früher
verstorbenen.
4) Die Tafel eines sehr bekannten Rennsportlers liegt
stark abseits und in einer ganz anderen Höhenlage als die
anderen Tafeln. So stark abseits, dass es sich bei großer Kälte
fast auszahlt, die Öffis dorthin zu nehmen. Die vorletzte Ziffer
(schau genau!) auf der Tafel ist D.
5) 3 Leute haben als Einzelpersonen nur ihre Handabdrücke
hinterlassen. Aber nur eine Person davon hatte eigentlich auch
einen guten Grund dafür, da sie für ihre Sportart ihre Beine
nicht braucht. Wieviele Jahreszahlen stehen auf dieser Tafel?

6) Fast alle Sportler sind hier mit ihrem vollen Namen verewigt.
Doch wenn man nur unter einer Art Spitznamen bekannt ist, steht man
wie dieser Sportler auch nur mit diesem Spitznamen
angeschrieben. Die 10erstelle der dritten Jahreszahl ist
F.
Kontrollmöglichkeit, ob du die richtigen Variablen hast: Die Summe
aller Variablen ist durch 3 teilbar! Ist das nicht der Fall, hast
du entweder einen falschen Sportler erwischt, oder dir eine der
Tafeln nicht gründlich genug angesehen.

Dass der Empfang hier nicht unbedingt der beste ist und die Gegend
extremst vermuggelt ist, braucht wohl nicht gesagt werden, also
Vorsicht beim Heben! Bitte einen eigenen Stift zum Loggen mitnehmen
und NO TRADE.

From the Generali Center (translation from
german): "On the 31st of March 1992 the "street of victors" took
its origin at this place. All olympia winners alive at this moment
and those athletes, which proved exceptional achievements in
non-olympic disciplines are immortalized in plates. Thanks go to
all the athletes which competed for Austria and won. We hope that
this street will never end."
Let's take a closer look at those plates. Maybe you could google
part of the informations, but to find the rest of it you'll have to
search for the plates at the location itself anyway, so why waste
time in front of the computer? ;) The "not available 24/7" sign is
only connected to solving the puzzle, not to the hiding place of
the cache, which can be found around the clock. The header
coordinates have basically nothing to do with the cache location,
but are a good spot for starting to answer the questions.
1) On one plate there are six winter athletes immortalized
by the print of one hand each. Take the checksum of the
checksum of the year on this plate and you'll get A.
2) Another winter sportswoman has a sort of motto written
underneath her big achievement ("Eine für alle"). B is the last
digit on the plate.
3) Two athletes haven't left any prints as unfortunately
they died before being able to. C is the day of the death of the
one that died earlier.
4) The plate of a very well known racing driver lies way
apart and at a completely different altitude than the others.
It lies so far apart that when it's really cold, it would even be
worth to take the public transport there. The second to last digit
(watch out!) on the plate is D.
5) 3 people have their own plate but still have only left
handprints. Only one of those three had a true reason for it,
as the person doesn't really need legs for the according
sport. How many dates are written on this plate? The answer is
E.
6) Nearly all athletes are immortalized here through their full
name. However, if you are just known by a nickname, it will be your
nickname standing on the plate, like in the case of this
athlete. The decade of the third date is F.
To check if you have the right numbers: The sum of all variables is
divisible by 3! If that is not the case, you either got a wrong
sportsman or didn't look carefully enough when you were looking at
one of the plates.
