Our fourth grade class has been studying regions, our United States, and latitude and longitude. Through this investigating, we came upon Geocaching. Our class has spent time Geocaching around our school and neighborhood. The students are very excited to create and manage their own Geocache. We have shared our learning and our experience with Geocaching on our classroom blog. This has even sparked an interest in Geocaching outside of the school day.
This geocache is a culmination of a fourth grade class's study of geography. Watch out for holes! It’s about waist high on an average fourth grader. It’s muddy during the summer. It’s usually quiet. You might prepare for getting a scratch or two. It’s a smaller sized Geocache. Bring bug spray. It's just off the trail, close to home. Have fun finding this Geocache!
