Just a short walk from the parking area. The view to the east is
nice. NOTE: THE ROAD TO THE CACHE IS LOCKED AFTER 10PM. You DON'T
need to traverse any fences. DO NOT go on the airport - it's
dangerous and unnecessary. This cache is OUTSIDE the airport fence.
12/15/06 - Changed to 1/3 per Clayjar rating system due to
vegetation growth since we placed it and the possibility of poison
ivy according to previous logs.
We travel to LaCrosse once a year for the Oktoberfest celebration
to see old friends. We will only be able to maintain this cache at
that interval. It's an ammo box painted green and has the name of
the cache on it. If you notice any major problems with the cache
please let us know - we monitor the logs and try to keep the info
up to date.
