There is time used as an elementary school in the past, too.
The big ginkgo tree is a viewpoint.

多聞院（たもんいん）は、正応年間（1288年 - 1293年）法達の開山により創建されたと伝えられております。
明治には船穂尋常小学校（現在の印西市立船穂小学校）の校舎として使用された時期もあったそうです。
千葉県指定有形文化財として毘沙門天及び両脇侍立像があります。
残念な事に常設ではなく、毎年８月２日に開帳です。
個人的には天を突くイチョウの木が大好きです。
