F&G: GT 1 – By The Beck Traditional Geocache

Globberdyke is an affectionate name for the area in and around Gomersal and Cleckheaton. Where the name came from, nobody actually knows... in fact, we only really know one person who refers to the area in such a way. Some of the 13 caches in this 3 mile series will give the values for the co-ordinates for a bonus cache (GC4D84T), which is a nice size for swaps and travel bugs etc. Some of the footpaths may be muddy after wet weather, but should be suitable for a pushchair.
From the suggested parking location, walk down the hill towards the first cache, which is on the bend. Nearby you will see Spen Beck in a rare moment when it isn't located underground or in a culvert. Bring your own pencil.
