On the Wabash Trace Nature Trail, a ride of 8.5 miles round trip from Silver City, or shorter if you take the trail from intersecting roads. Gentle slopes, no hills.
Ammo container. This is a unique site, well worth the visit. You'll want to spend some time to enjoy the surroundings. Note the thorn trees beside the wooden part of the bridge and the rail cars along the banks near the old iron bridge. The rail cars were brought in to stabilize the banks of Silver Creek along this bend. Not really a train wreck, after all. This is the cache we meant to put out when we got a flat tire, and placed the cache near Silver City instead.

Last find of the day while hiking part of the Wabash Trace. I'll have to go back to explore the train cars. Signed the log. Thanks for the Cache!

Nice site on a beautiful day. We all love riding the Wabash and enjoy it even more now that we have discovered geocaching. I tried to make this one harder than it was, as always. TNLNSL Thanks for another great cache on the great Wabash.
