The reason for this event has been in the making for the past 1 1/2 years. On Sept. 9, 2012 I reached my 12,000 found cache as I attended the Straits Area Geocachers - 5th Annual Fall Fest. I haven't cached to much since then but I'm about to find my 13,000 cache. I would like to enjoy the company of my friends that I've met through geocaching from this area. I hope many of the area cachers can attend this event, which will be my 450th hide too.
Even if we have not met, I would love for you to attend this event. I would be happy to meet you. Everyone is welcome to attend. Food and beverage cost will be the responsibility of each attendee.
