Geocache Description:

A bison tube that marks the location of an interesting collection of urban sculptures. Be vigilant when searching for this one at night as some dregs of humanity have been seen nearby recently.

Coyotes were indigenous to Santa Clara County and proliferated along the banks of the Guadalupe River through the days of the Ohlone Indian Settlement.

The Coyote played an important role in Ohlone tradition. In one popular creation legend, the Coyote and his companion, the Eagle, caused the Earth's water to recede. The Coyote and the Eagle then created human beings and harmony reigned.

With the establishment of the El Pueblo de San Jose de Guadalupe, the Coyote and the Ohlone way of life became a part of the Valley's past.
