Hogwarts Traditional Geocache
Red Hot Mama: Last November my daughter and her friend visited this cache and found it missing. She has been maintaining my caches in the Missoula area. I should have archived it then and for some reason I didn't. I used to travel this route regularly but don't anymore, and it is out of the way for my daughter. My apologies to those who visited it and were unable to find it. I am going to archive this cache.

This cache is hidden at Marco Flats fishing access just North of Bonner. You can drive to within 150 to 200 feet of the cache. When the river is at normal level you shouldn't have to do much bushwhacking, though at the time I hid it the river was over its banks and I had to bushwhack through lots of brambles and rose thorns. It should be easy to find, especially if you are Harry Potter and can use your magic powers. If you are a muggle may the geocaching force be with you.
The cache is hidden in an ammo can (Snitch Box). Its original contents are Harry Potter, Ron, Hermione, Malfoy, Buckbeak, Crookshanks, Scabbars, Study Bean (Hermione), Dragon Egg with polished rocks inside, Harry Potter glasses, Harry Potter Uno Game, H & P post-it notes (Harry's initials), and trading cards. There is also a log, pen, pencils, pencil sharpener, and geocaching information sheet which are to be left in the cache. Harry Potter must also be left behind so that Hedwig can find him when he returns. Harry is attached to the lid of the cache. Hedwig is a travel bug just being launched from Hogwarts by Harry Potter. This is a Harry Potter theme cache. You may trade anything that you can somehow justify that Harry Potter and his friends might be able to use, or other far-fetched relationship to Harry Potter and his environment. You might want to wear long pants and long sleeves as even in ideal conditions you have to bushwhack through some brambles and wild roses. Enjoy the view of the Lake that leads to Hogwarts, and the Hogwarts grounds. Beware of lurking muggles.
