Inspired by the Assume Nothing Isle of man series of geocaches
by
Happy Humphrey (which in turn were inspired by a series in
California) we have decided to hide some of our own along the same
lines in Wales.
This one is in a lovely location overlooking the Dyfi Estuary so
choose a nice day and enjoy the views.
The container small, heavily camouflaged with tree bark and may
be a little difficult to spot unless you pay attention to the
title. Be careful not to give any hints in your log and to replace
the cache carefully so as not to damage the camouflage.

November 8, 2009 by Gwyddno (344 found) A quick find on a nice stroll on a sunny autumn afternoon. There are some wonderful views from the cache site. The hardest thing about finding the cache was the quantity of other people in this quiet country lane! This included a couple with a dog, four ladies with another dog and 4 pensioners in a VW Passat who nearly ran me over. You could do this as a cache & dash and park within 2 metres of the cache but personally I'd use a Landrover...TFTC, Gwyddno.

October 29, 2009 by Gizmogirltasha (116 found) I love your tricksy cache's.We have done the ivy one so knew that traditional caching methods would not find this cache! Nice valley, nice walk. Took some finding but again once you assume nothing you find it! (it is true you need not destroy anything) Love the camoflage! TFTC Number 110

September 15, 2009 by John Stead (2702 found) At last, third time lucky! I have to admit to having a little help but no more than an indication of size, otherwise all was on the webpage but the encouragement was appreciated all the same. The fact it was a nice sunny day may have helped but it still took me quite a while examining all the possibilities. A very nicely crafted cache and as already said there is no need at all to damage the environment to get at the cache. And the farm dogs formed up to escort us back down towards the main road!

August 4, 2009 by GothNRoll (798 found) We went to this place today, looking for a well hidden cache. When we arrived at the spot we were shocked about the destruction done by the seekers. The wall was demolished, branches were broken and the place was simply in a mess. We spent 20 Minutes to repair what we could and ten minutes for searching before leaving the place. One should be allowed to ask if even a fine cache-series like this is worth the damage done by "not so smart" cachers... Greetings,
^v^ GnR ^v^

July 28, 2009 by Lime Candy (772 found) After having found Assume Nothing #2 and #3 today, we thought we'd have a go at the famous #1! Parked down in Furnace and walked up the hill and along the path. The weather wasn't great - thick drizzle - but it wasn't cold or windy. After a mile we arrived at GZ and began to hunt.... but we couldn't find the cache. We had loads of ideas of where it might be, but they were all wrong! We'll be back... great walk though, we hadn't been along here before, although the weather masked the view today, it must be brilliant on a dry day.
