in our disclaimer.
After reaching 300 finds we figured it was about time we started
giving back to the geocaching community. So, in beginning this
endeavor we decided to place our first cache; and here it is!
Please leave feedback about the coordinates and the cache.
Thanks!
The cache is located in Roosevelt Park, one of the many parks
throughout Bellingham. There is plenty of space for kids as well as
dogs/cats to play. Yes, you read correctly, cats. I’ve seen people
walking their cats in this park. The actual location of the cache
is pretty muddy during the rainy season so be prepared to get
dirty. Don’t say you weren’t warned. You should be able to access
the cache without getting wet, unless you slip and fall of
course.
You are looking for a small to mid size lock and lock container.
For the First three finders there is an un-activated geocoin
waiting. Only take one per account. FTF gets first choice!! FYI, If
you take the GCC anniversary coin the contest that the coin is part
of is still going on.
Have fun and let us know of any problems.
If you see trash around the area please practice CITO. There are
trash cans in the park to dispose of the litter.
Congratulations to 4cools for their first FTF, barely beating out
Jolly-Roger, and soilsqueezer.
