when you approach the location) and WALK to the cache.

This "diamond in the rough" locale is in an obviously neglected
area, as will be evident when you see it (especially as of this
edit - June, 30, 2006). It doesn't look like any improvements will
be made soon, which is a shame. You're not looking for a park, or a
marked trail, or a place to enjoy a lovely picnic lunch, though if
the surroundings were different, this would be a nice place for any
of those activities. Off-road parking is available, but please be
discreet as there are homes nearby. I don't recommend this site as
a night cache, because of both the terrain and the type of local
residences (and residents). During the day, however, it's a nice
little place to spend a few minutes imagining what a little TLC and
pride in one's neighborhood could bring about. The cache site (and
indeed, its entire surroundings) is a good CITO opportunity; I've
stashed some small trash bags in the cache for use on exiting the
site. If everyone would remove just one bag of trash, this area
would remain as clean as it should be. Currently, a bout of poor
health has prevented me from cleaning up my own cache areas, so any
CITO you could help me with will be condiered a personal favor.

Please take care to replace the swag in the ammo can and replace
it just as you found it so it remains well-hidden for the next
