Geocache Description:

Reasonably concealed HUGE cache is located in state recreation area. There is a small parking lot near to the cache.

Cache container used to have my mom’s waffle cookies in it. It is HUGE so bring your largest items and TBs.
Cache container well concealed too.

Closest parking at: N 42.41.579 W 083.29.894

Original cache contents: small balls, stamp, bookmark, dice, TB and $1 bill.

CAUTION:
This area is known to have the Massasauga Rattlesnake. I don't wish to alarm anyone about the danger of having a confrontation with one of these snakes. Many of us have walked the trails in this area many times and I've never heard of anyone crossing paths with a Massasauga Rattlesnake. But an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure so I've provided a few links if you want to learn to more about these snakes. Remember that these snakes are protected in Michigan so do not harm them. For additional info, see the DNR links below:
