Another hidden gem of the bay
Elbury cove is a sheltered and secluded beach along the SW coastal path.It features a ruined cottage dating back to the mid 1800s which was once thatched. The cove is popular with water skiers in the summer months.A pleasant relatively flat walk if approached from Broadsands where there is ample parking. Please do not thrash around too much at the cache location, you will spoil the cover.

I have since found out that elbury cove was privately owned by lord Churston.back in the 1800's.The derilict building was once a bathing house and contained two large copper cylinders to allow the sea water to be heated thus allowing a hot and cold dip !! How the other half !!
