An old 1902 railroad bridge from days gone by crossing Piru Creek. Log only; bring your own writing utensil.

Please access from Warring Park on Orchard Street in Piru. Parking is free. The other end of the bridge is near private property and you would have to cross the bridge, which we do not recommend.

There is no need to go out on the bridge to reach the cache. There are steep drop-offs near the bridge, so keep a close eye on children and be extra careful if retrieving the cache at night.

Warring Park has picnic tables and restrooms. Nearby Piru creek had a good amount of water and ducks in it when we placed the cache. You can see the newer bridges of "We Love Old Bridges" (GCK339) from this site.

There is a benchmark near the corner of one of the park buildings.

This didn't take long to find, but we've had easier. But I think the harder, all the more pleasure of finding the cach. -Little Indiana Chone

Been awhile since we were able to get out and cache since having the new baby. Went out towards Santa Clarita to hit our 500 mark. Was a beautiful day outside and turned out to be a lucky day for caching. Had our best ratio yet with 59 finds and only 3 DNF. We left some Seabee friends along the way to guard the caches from mugglers. TFTC!

Tuesday mornings are often the best times to go caching in neighborhood parks; this place was a ghost town. My GPS kept trying to tell me the cache was somewhere else, but the hint is pretty spot-on and really helped. Thanks!

Out doing the 126 from Santa Paula to the 5 with LTSED. Couldn't be a nicer day and the area is filled with great caches. We picked up 50+ and only missed two. And we each "seeded" a new one along a nice route. Thanks for the hides and contribution to a great day. Neat place, love to have this bridge at my summer camp.

What a great day of caching with Majorjarhead along Hwy 126. A personal best of 58 finds and only two DNF's. TNSL
