Everyone who logs an “Attended” at a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event on April 26th or 27th earns this year’s CITO souvenir for their Geocaching profile.
Cache In Trash Out (also known as CITO) is the environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources! These events focus on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, planting trees and vegetation, and trail building.
Our event: Saturday April 26, 2014
Time: Let's meet at 9:00AM at the posted coords in the parking lot.
Where: Sugar Land Memorial Park
Who: YOU.. Feel free to bring the whole geo-family including the pups(there may be an "after party" at the dog park nearby)
Activities:
1. CITO of the beautiful Memorial Park of course!
2. Raffle - Prizes include trackables and GC related items.
3. Depending on water conditions we can venture out to Danger Island.
4. After the CITO event feel free to bring your GeoPups to the nearby Pawm Springs Dog Park.
