Geocache Description:

Come one, come all to the CITO event of the year! I'm turning 25 on the 28th and Earth Day is two days before! I want to have my party as a volunteer party to clean up some TRASH! Bring your husbands, wives, significant others, children and friends to celebrate a day we give back to Mother Earth!!!

WHERE: Brooks Park, 80 Butler Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405

WHEN: Saturday April 26th from 1pm-4pm

Parking is free to the public. Stafford County will be providing trash bags and gloves for everyone as well as trash removal once we have finished cleaning up.

Please bring a snack or drink to share. DON'T FORGET THE WATER!!! I will have some water with me but I can not guarantee it will last the whole event. There are Restrooms and the water fountain SHOULD by all means be working. I will also have a small First Aid Kit with me, should we need some band-aids or tape, but if you have any allergies, please bring your medication or EpiPens. I'm hoping for NO injuries whatsoever!!

We have been allowed to clean up the whole park and then moving North West along the walking/bike trail known as the Belmont-Ferry Farm Trail. Feel free to come as late into the event as you like, and leave as early as you may need to, just don't forget to sign the log book! I will also be walking around taking pictures to upload to the Geocaching CITO event page, so if you are camera shy or would not like to be photographed, just let me know when you see me. I'm the girl with blue hair, so I shouldn't be too hard to spot!

At the end of the cleanup, I will have prizes for the LARGEST piece of trash found, a prize for the OLDEST and YOUNGEST participants, a prize for the cacher who DROVE the FURTHEST and then a prize for the CRAZIEST object found as voted on by YOU!! Oh, and one last little tid bit, I am going to have a give-away, being its my birthday weekend, I'd like everyone to go home with a little something, so cache party favors for all!!

Thanks to Stafford County Parks and Recreation for giving us some help on the clean up!
