DISCLAIMER: This cache IS NOT part of the Clue Contest game. The cache container and its placement location were selected randomly from the 5 zones. The container and its location SHOULD NOT BE USED to help you solve the Clue Contest game. These caches were placed to pay homage to the current Clue Contest game and organizers which got many people out of their hibernating habitats and back caching in the cold. Cache containers vary and likely do not contain a writing stick so bring your own!
Irresponsible idiots! Let’s cut to the chase! Someone slipped up and as a result evidence gathered for the Gnathan Gnome murder investigation has been STOLEN! Specifically the thief took the potential murder weapons. Without that evidence our forensics team won’t be able to derive the specifics on which weapon was used and perhaps who used it. Luckily the thief dropped something, a list of numbers, perhaps coordinates? It makes sense as all the murder suspects are cachers.
Unfortunately we blew our budget on tazers and party hats. We don’t have one of those GPS units. Without a GPS to test the potential coordinates out our only option would be to organize a massive police search; well out of our budget once again. That is were you deputized cachers come in! We know that you want nothing more than to rush out into the elements (the cold, rain, snow, mud, dark, heavy bush) to find cleverly concealed items. It takes a cacher to find another cacher’s hides. Will you help? Unfortunately we have no budget to pay you for your time and no rewards are currently being offered but we will award the first cacher who finds the murder weapon with a certificate of appreciation, the coveted crime scene investigators Forensics Team Finder (FTF) certificate.
You have your assignment. This isn't your typical geocache, it is "unlikely that you will find a pencil" with the potential murder weapon. You better bring your own and makes notes on what you find at the location. Help bring the killer of Gnathan Gnome to justice! And cachers, let’s be safe out there!
