About a year and a half ago we had attempted this one with no luck as we blamed the weather in our failure. I have been by this area several times since, but had yet to go back after it. Finally, I decided to give it another shot today. The weather was great and could no longer be an excuse. Besides with several hundred more finds under my belt, this should now be a lot easier. Wrong! I don't know what it is with me and rock hides, but I was once again having trouble making the find. After about 10 minutes of searching, I started having flashbacks of the last time I was up here. After calming my self down, I re-started my search back at GZ. Of course, it was the same GZ as before. Now wait a minute, how could it be there? I had to have looked there before. The coordinates were spot on and my GPS was reading 4ft and there it was! Don't ask me how I never saw it the first time, but there it was now. Anyway, a year and a half later the log was finally signed as I made the find at 3:30pm.

Thanks for the hide,

Bernsports (#687)

Terrific view, interesting colorful rocks. But why, oh why, does my GPS lead me all over the place - these people who just dash up and back drive me nuts!

I like this one. On my way to work this morning, I stopped for this cache for my one-a-day cache fix. A short trot up the hill, made my mark, a quick trot back down and on my way. Six minutes round trip. Excellant view from here coupled with a gorgeous sunrise made for an awsome start to my day. thanks. TFTC.
