Geocache Description:

Vaughn Woods in historic Hallowell, Maine.

Vaughn Woods in historic Hallowell, Maine.

Enter trail at N44 16.696 W069 47.789 at intersection of middle street and Hallowell-Litchfield Road. (Or, for a shortcut requiring pure GPS navigation (without directions), enter at Halldale High School by tennis courts).

Take trail south by southwest, eventually following stream. You'll come to a large stone bridge -- a nice place to rest or picnic -- and halfway to the cache. Bear right at fork in trail after bridge, following it south by southwest. Make left at T. Take trail east and find a place to bushwhack to the cache.

Please take good care of it -- and please leave interesting or valuable items, rather than broken McDonalds toys. There's a camera in the cache -- feel free to take a picture of yourself. (CAMERA PICKED UP WHEN I SERVICED THE CACHE - WILL HAVE PICS AT THE EVENT IN JUNE) - I PLAN ON PUTTING ANOTHER CAMERA IN THE CACHE SOON. PS. please make use of the 'FLASH' on the camera when taking a pic. there were alot of pics didn't come out!! waste of money.
