The King Of Carrot
Flowers
Once upon a
time there was a rabbit king who ruled the land once known as the
Kingdom of Carrot Flowers. The king was a great king who protected
his land from an evil woman of magic named Bruxa, who kept trying
to find a way to take the land from the king and his people because
she despised carrot flowers so much!
There were many times where she was almost successful but
always failed (thankfully). Once she turned all the crops of Carrot
Flowers into rotten green onions. Another time she made it rain for
a month straight. The king knew she would keep trying and trying
and it would only get worse as he and his people kept prevailing no
matter what. Well, this time it might be the last as she created a
pack of evil wolves to terrorize the kingdom. The wolves ruined
their crops of Carrot Flowers and dug up their homes. It was tough
but the king and his people had to flee to save themselves.
A few moons later the king came up with the perfect plan that
was just sneaky enough it might work. The king and a few other
rabbits were going to dress up as wolves and sneak into Bruxa's
Palace that she created and rid the land of her one and for
all.
As the rabbits in wolves’ clothing made their way into
the palace, the gate guard halted them for questioning. The king
said that he and his friends had heard about this place and wanted
to serve the great Bruxa. The guard then fell for the tale and let
them through. The king and his men were put in front of Bruxa and
told her that they were great cooks and if she let them stay they
would cook her and her friends the nastiest, stinkiest, most
disgusting meal ever!
The next day the king and his men worked all day getting the
meal together. They collected spider legs, rotten onions, tomatoes,
crab grass and sour grapes. They added the final ingredient of
Carrot Flower juice and brought it to the table for Bruxa and her
friends to eat. Bruxa and her evil friends scarfed it down while
raving about how good it was with food flying out of their mouths.
Soon after Bruxa and her friends became ill and her powers were
starting to wear away.
The king knowing it was time to act got his men together and
tied Bruxa and her friends up in a boat to send her down the river
without a paddle. Because she was gone, the wolves did not stand a
chance against all the rabbits, so they were forced to flee. The
king was now back on his throne and his people were happy being
home again. They had a huge party for the king for saving them once
again and they lived happily ever after.
Three cheers for the king!
