It is not at the top of the escarpment and not at the bottom.
You can make your approach from the bottom and pass by many old
ruins of kilns, the mill and also see the waterfalls (yes that is
designated as a waterfall by the bridge) or alternatively from the
top and down the ladders by the "Hole In The Wall". Both ways are
great, and you should even consider doing the trail loop.
Parking coordinate #1 (from the bottom)
We parked here. There is room for about 2 cars, and some other
roadside parking.

There are also a couple different approaches to the cache that
we discovered, leaving the Bruce Trail. Also, portions of the trail
and cache area are quite rocky and consist of elevation changes.
However, my 6 year old son and I had no problems at all when we
left the trail and walked along the middle of the escarpment to the
cache hiding spot.
Cache is a regular sized cylindrical container (with the usual
trade items) which is guarded by a Gathering of creatures, which
initially included a lizard, beaver and turtle. These creatures, or
any additional ones that are added, are not to be taken, but left
to guard the cache. Feel free to trade any items that are in the
container though and feel free to add your own creature to the
Gathering to help protect the cache. The cache is well hidden, so
please return it and cover the hiding spot exactly as you found
it.
After logging your find at the cache, make sure you take the
time to explore the area as it is quite fascinating with all the
crevices and tunnels. There is a rather long tunnel through the
rock very near to the cache for you to explore. It leads to a long
crevice which eventually leads to the ladders. You will love it,
and I highly recommend you take the time to explore it as it is
quite an experience and adventure.
