Geocache Description:

To celebrate turning 32 years young I have placed this cache in Van Cortlandt park, yet another underused area of the Bronx.
Seymore Running Turtle is beginning his journey here as well so please help him on his trip to Montana and back.
I came in from the west which involves a pretty steep climb. You can also come in from the East which probably won't be as tough of a hike. There is some pretty good bushwhacking involved in this one.
If you come from the south end of the park grab a map from the Nature Center. If you don't here's a copy for you to print (visit link)
Coming into the park by the Stables gives you more of a scenic walk. Turn on to the Cass Gallagher Nature Trail to get to te right area.
